Spring is in the air

Woke up this morning to this . . .Gotta love spring. Pretty much every other day here is suppose to be rain/snow. Luckily we have the sun in between the storms.

This little Monkey had her Kindergarten Roundup (Meeting) yesterday afternoon. She was, "a little excited, and a lot nervous". The meeting went well. She was amazed that there was a library in her school. She thought that was pretty neat. She also had no problem going off in her group, while the parents had our meeting. She stood up walked over to her group, looked back once before leaving the room, and was fine. No tears, no pulling on her shirt (a nervous habit of hers), and no walking on her tippy toes. My little girl's all grown up. Afterwards I asked her if she was excited to start kindergarten in the fall. She said, "Yeah! They have a doll house!!"

Marlee, you are going to love Kindergarten! The teachers are great, and the toys are cool, too (though Alec doesn't talk much about the doll house...). Very Exciting!

Keep working on those crazy M's and e's. Ugh, why do they make writing letters so complicated for these little 5 year olds. I went home from the roundup and told Samuel that I had been wrong about M's and e's. He was thrilled!!! I think I had really been confusing the poor child. I guess I'll study up before Seth starts. Marlee is so cute and sweet!!!
I need to call you about doing our VTing--soon. I have been such a slacker but I WILL do it this month. Are you in????
