Here's our little pirates. Van couldn't wait to be dressed up like one, and then decided he hated it. Noah loved it. I took them to the grocery store like this, and they got a ton of attention, which they loved. Both of them have informed me that they want a "Pirate Hat Party" for their birthday. I think they like to plan ahead (2 1/2 months).
The other day Marlee and Noah were doing Knock Knock jokes. Here's how one of them went:
Marlee: Knock Knock
Noah: Who's there?
Marlee: Marlee
Noah: (yelling) Let me in!!
Then today Nathan and I were duscussing dinners for the next few days.
Nathan asked Marlee: What's your most favorite dinner that Mom cooks for you?
Marlee: TOAST!

Wow, toast! That's impressive. I've been so bad lately... my kids either get waffles (not homemade) or spaghetti, cheese sandwiches, or, um, waffles again. WHAT IS MY PROBLEM??? We have a lot of toast around here as well.
Cute pirates, by the way.
