Woke up this morning to this . . .
Sad, sad day. That's all I have to say.
(No, I did not mean to rhyme, it just worked out way.)

Here's our little pirates. Van couldn't wait to be dressed up like one, and then decided he hated it. Noah loved it. I took them to the grocery store like this, and they got a ton of attention, which they loved. Both of them have informed me that they want a "Pirate Hat Party" for their birthday. I think they like to plan ahead (2 1/2 months).
The other day Marlee and Noah were doing Knock Knock jokes. Here's how one of them went:
Marlee: Knock Knock
Noah: Who's there?
Marlee: Marlee
Noah: (yelling) Let me in!!
Then today Nathan and I were duscussing dinners for the next few days.
Nathan asked Marlee: What's your most favorite dinner that Mom cooks for you?
Marlee: TOAST!
Easter Sunday, everyone but me (Jenny) woke up with a cold. Even Elijah. Bummer. So the kids weren't in the best of moods. Then Marlee ate way too much candy, and got a stomach ache. But, it was a nice afternoon at my parents for dinner. Grandma and Grandpa did an egg hunt for the kiddies. They loved it. Here's a few pics, sorry about the lighting in them.
Marlee, Noah and Vance were each given a balloon the other day, and were playing outside with them. Van's popped first, Marlee figured out how to deflate hers, and Noah let go of his. As they watched in amazement as Noah's balloon flew up into the sky these little things were said:
Noah: It's in the sky, up up up into the sky.
Vance: It's with spaceships.
Marlee (to Nathan): It's in space with Heavenly Father and Santa Clause.
Nathan: Santa Clause? Why is he in space?
Marlee: Because Mom said he lives at the top of the world.
We did it. An Ormsby first. All 6 of us went the to movies. It was spur of the moment, and turned out great. Monday afternoon we saw "Horton Hears a Who". It was the Movies and Mom deal (so all the kiddies were free - AWESOME!). It was nice having a million other kids in the theater, so we didn't have to worry about ours being a disturbance. Marlee was excited, she's been to the movies a few times, but this was a first for the boys. It took almost a half hour before they took their hands off their ears. They thought the movie was loud, but they got use to it. They sat for the entire first half of the movie, but then wanted to stand the rest of the time. (They like watching TV standing up) Elijah slept in his car seat the entire time. The more noise for him, the better. We all had a good time. It was a cute movie. I love Horton. I Haven't read the book in forever, so I can't remember how it compares, but the story was cute. Horton's so much fun. My two favorite parts were when Horton crosses the bridge, and the Japanamation dream scene. That had me in tears.
The kids have learned how to do this from watching cartoons, and their Koro's (Nathan's Dad) surf lesson. Cool huh? Thank you Backyardagains, and Surf's Up. And thank you Koro for sharing your video with us.
"Surf's up, Surf's up, Ohhh daddy ohh."
