Would you say the parking lot is slippery?

This is a picture of me today, except instead of a bag and suitcase I'm holding 15 library books, and walking behind my little girl to remind her to walk carefully so she won't fall.

This is what Marlee said about the experience, "Mom, I turned around to see you, and you were laying on the ground!"
Yup, that's what happened. My right foot decided to see if I could do the splits (which I have NEVER been able to do). Luckily, I caught it before it succeeded, and corrected the silly foot. Unfortunately, my center of gravity couldn't catch up with my "cat like reflexes", so me and my 15 library books fell, completely flat on my back, in the mud and snow! Poor Nathan, he ran to me not knowing what to expect. It's okay to laugh at this story, because I did not get hurt, and all the BLACK mud came out of my sweater, t-shirt, tank top, and pants. However, my ego was a little bruised. I'm sure it looked pretty funny.

I'm sorry Jen, I was laughing by the end, and only because I have done this before, and usually in front of a group of people, and once when there was no ice...explain that! It's good to hear you guys are good and had a great holiday!

I'm glad you gave us permission to laugh and that you are OK. I've done that a few times myself...once on a date.

Jenn, you are allowed one fall per year before we start wrapping you in bubble wrap. Quota met. I'm happy to hear that I can laugh but also nice to hear you weren't hurt.

My father-in-law always told me when I was pregnant that "Weebles wobble but they don't fall down." (I know he's telling me I look like a very round person...) I'm glad you weren't hurt. Remember to just wobble next time... :)
