This will be short. It's 2:30 am, I'm on Lortab, and the battery in the laptop is about to die.
I'm recovering alright. I take pain medication every 4 hours, and it works for about 2 1/2 hours. Then I hurt. Cold is good, especially Thick Shakes from McDonalds, and Slurpees!
"They" say that the worst pain is to come in the next day or two.
My Mom and Dad have been amazing, and have watched my kiddies constantly.
Nathan has been fantastic! Every morning he makes new jello and pudding for me.

You poor girl. I got my tonsils out when I was 25. It sucked for a few weeks, but it was so worth it in the end. No more sore throats! plus I lost about 10 pounds, to bad I gained it all back when I got pregnant two months later! HOpe you start feeling better.
I am glad to hear you are on the mend, and that you are taking your pain meds... Sounds like you are in good hands, and KUDOS to Nate, too.
Oh Jenny so sorry to hear that you are not feeling well. Having your tonsils out is not any fun at all. But you will be glad that you did in a few weeks. Keep resting and drink lots and lots of fluids. Good Luck!
Hang in there! I hope you get feeling better soon...thank goodness for your wonderful family to help you through this!
If it's at all possible to get a "real" thick shake, I would recommend that as the McDonald's shakes are thickened with thickeners derived from clay, and it's not like you're pregnant and need weird minerals. You're not pregnant, right?
Nicola recommends Iceberg for shakes.
I clicked on yoru blog from Blake and Danielle's and I have to say- your kids are GOREGEOUS!!!!! (im sure I spelled it wrong too!) I love your family picture at the top- thats all! Oh, and get better soon!

oh, Jen, I'm so sorry! Hang in there! What a good Nathan you have to make you jello and pudding!
I'm so glad that Nate and your parents are there to help! Hope you're feeling better soon!
