We're Going Home!!

Yup, that's right, we're going home sometime this afternoon. YEAH! As long as Elijah keeps behaving, he should get the thumbs up to leave the NICU and head home. Last night they let me have him in my room for a couple of hours. We had a party! We snuggled and watched t.v. for 2 hours together. It was perfect. Yesterday afternoon the kids (Marlee, Noah and Vance) finally got to see him. Our awesome Nurse wheeled him into the regular nursery window so they could have a peek at him. Marlee was so excited. And I think the boys finally believe there really is a little baby. It'll be interesting to see how we all do today when we're home. I promise we'll post later tonight, and add more photos. SO keep checking back.

It's a BOY!!

Yup, that's right we have a new little boy in our family. I started having contractions at around 2:30 am this morning. We headed to the hospital at 5:30 am, and "Baby Ormsby" was born at 10:37 am (January 21). He weighs 6 lbs. 10 oz., is 19 inches long, and has some awesome black hair on his head and shoulders/back. :) He was born 3 weeks early, and because of that his lungs aren't quite ready to work. So, he's in NICU He still has not been given a name, but we're working on it.

Somehow this photo didn't end up in the last post. It's too sweet to not add.

Pic's for the week

Here's my cute kiddies for the week. . .
Marlee's enjoying my freshly painted, clean bedroom. (THANK-YOU Nathan!!!!)

Van loves eating bread (that's what's in his mouth). Notice the sippy cup? He won't give it up for anything! We've been trying all week to have him use a regular cup. He'll have nothing to do with it. He's a stubborn one, I wonder where he gets it from!? lol

Noah was trying on "Daddy's hat!".

And as for the other kiddie (the one yet to be born), yes he has the hiccups right now. This poor kid has the hiccups at least twice a day. But so did Marlee too. Even after she was born she had the hiccups 3+ times a day. Poor thing was cursed with the hiccups for about 6 months after she was born. I wonder if this baby will too? I'm still doing well, and hanging in there for a few more days or weeks. Even if I can't go till sleep till 2 am. I'm surviving, somehow. However, my body, doesn't feel the same way. It's had enough. It hurts, doesn't like to move, especially walk anywhere, and did I say hurts. It would like this little tenant out now!! Soon enough though, soon enough.
