Terrace Days are Here Again!!
This is what we are doing this weekend. It's Nathan's big "party" as the kids call it. It's the one super crazy weekend he has all year. But, we all have fun at it. Just thought maybe you'd like to take a gander at what he plans, and does. I'm sure I'll have some pics of it later on next week.

Climbing the "Hill"
In about 6 months I'm going to be turning 30. I've been looking forward to this age. I've heard that being in your 30's is great. However, there have been four things this week that have me me feel like 30 is old . . .
1. My baby sister is going to be a Senior in High School! I know my 10 year reunion was last summer, but still, I feel like I've only been out of High School for a few years. I remember being a Senior and wondering what my little brother and sister would be like when they were my age. (There's 10 years between me and my brother, and 12 between my sis and I)
2. I heard a remake of one of my favorite Bush songs. I loved Bush in High School. I remember me and my BFF Aly singing our guts out to them. Also to "No Doubt", which now that I think about it, I had to explain to my sister that Gwen Stefani was originally in a group called No Doubt back in the day. AHHHH!
3. The doctor who helped me in the ER on Monday had to be younger than me. Or, at least my age. Doctor's use to be older, much older than me. I'm not sure how I feel about that. Yikes!
Well, I better get going, I have gray hairs to go count . . .

This too Shall Pass
A little over 24 hours ago I thought I was going to die. Truly, death by pain! I have never experienced pain like that before. It was much worse than giving birth! Yesterday afternoon I took a little cat nap, and awoke to a small pain in my lower back. (I've had this same pain on and off for a few days now. And just earlier that morning the doctor told me I had a bladder infection) Within 10 minutes of waking up to that dull pain, I could barely talk on the phone, telling Nathan to "Come home!!" Off to the emergency room for me. Again, I can't even begin to explain the pain, it was horrid, so horrid that I started hyperventilating, and throwing up. Awesome. After some amazing morphine, some nausea medication, CT scans, and 4+ hours in the ER, I was told that I have kidney stones. Not fun. I am doing better today though. No terribly scary pain, just mild stuff. Thank goodness for pain medication. But, supposedly the worse is yet to come. . . yippee! (sarcasm folks)
